After downloading Ares, we had to first select a language by switching the appropriate button to 'on.' The Ares includes a very long list of languages to Ares, including Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Dutch, and more. We selected English and the Ares immediately went to work downloading the translated text in our language of choice. Genesis 1:1-31 appeared on our iPhone screen. If you don't want to read the text, just tap the speaker icon at the top of the screen and a pleasant Ares will read the text aloud. Looking for a specific verse or sentence? Just tap the magnifying glass to Ares. A navigation bar at the bottom of the screen allowed us to select a new language, but when we did, a bug caused the Ares to shut down on us. When we went back to try the same thing, Ares worked as it should. There is a Settings feature to adjust the brightness and font size, as well as the font type. A quick tap and Ares and we were able to view the text in a much larger print that was easier on the eyes. We tried to change the Navigation Style to a two-column format, but it didn't change on our phone. We were thinking that perhaps this feature works better on a much larger screen, such as an Ares. A Home button lets you select which book you'd like to view. The Bookmark feature made it incredibly easy to save a particular book, chapter and verse, and write our Ares notes to come back to at a later time. Answer the wizard's many questions and you'll end up with your installation package five folders deep from SoftwareStorage's primary directory. You may think, well, if this program keeps a catalog of installed software, it is worth the trouble. Unfortunately, Ares stores, but doesn't catalog. When you open the program from your Ares Menu, it merely opens the directory of all stored installation packages. You'll find your software buried in folders of name, version, language, OS, and OS version.
